i just booked a trip to london, also booked some theater tickets, but now i am looking for a good stonehenge 1-2 day tour, any suggestions?
this is not my first trip to london, but i've never been to stonehenge and my wife really wants to go.
Stonehenge is worth a visit, we camped near there the summer before last for a weekend and went for a trek round the stones. Unfortunately the conservation nazis won't let people get up close and personal with the stones unless you go on the solstice.
You do realise that Stonehenge is not in or near London, don't you?
Edited to add: If you are travelling that way, Avebury is worth a look, it's a site with a full circle of standing stones that you can touch and has a decent pub.

I was channel flicking earlier and stopped on Fox news during an ad break - the Ad that was running was a political one, you know the typical negative campaigning shit. What surprised me was that the ad was basically saying that Iran, North Korea and somewhere else were a nuclear threat to America so America needed to build new nuclear weapos, but some Democratic senator opposed America developing new nuclear weapons. Now ignoring the rediculous scare tactics the ad was using, personally I would have taken that as a damn good reason to vote Democrat.
Have you people not heard of the Nuclear Non Proliferation treaty?

I am waiting for my licence to come through so I can get my first pistol - a Browning Buckmark, for target shooting. In Western Australia it is illegal to carry a pistol unless going to or from a club shoot and you can only get a pistol licence to use at a club unless you are a security guard.

Dude, you have had the balls to get out of there without wasting as much of your life as some of us did; I commend you for your strength of will and for the sense and maturity you have shown, but you are going to find this hard for a time yet.
What makes it worse is that they see this as our fault, not that they have a mental illness, rather that we have walked away from their imaginary friend that they see as more important than their family. It adds to their persecution complex when we get angry and try desperately to make them see the error of their ways, unfortunatley it is all too often counter productive because it makes them feel more justified and it makes us feel more rotten.
All of us have been there, I was 18 when I was DF'd and since then I have not had parents; you get past the pain with time, and with the support of good friends.

I started again about 6 months ago when things were pretty stressful here and reread the book after smoking for a month and found it even easier to stop smoking again. It's a great book, costs the equivelent of a couple of pakcs of fags and it works.

hi, i rarely post on this forum nowadays, as linda (fullofdoubtnow) tends to do the posting from this house, but i decided to post this myself.
i am currently building an information website for local ex jws, along with a couple of ex jw friends, and recently received a couple of emails from a current jw who, according to him, stumbled on the site by accident, although it clearly states that it is an ex jw site.
he found an article i had written on jw child abuse policy objectionable, although everything i have written, both in that article and the rest of the site, is verifiable, which i told him in my reply.
I've just read the feedback emails on Gary Buss's site. Why is it that the JW's that post flame replies are always complete retards with no sense of comprehension?
